Ultra Self-Storage announces the Grand Opening of its state-of-the-art climate controlled Inside Self-Storage facility, with ribbon cutting at 10:30am on Thursday Dec. 5th.
This is an innovative repurposing of a historic 150-year-old distillery warehouse space in an area experiencing on-going revitalization.

Ultra Self-Storage is responding to the storage needs of the continuous revitalization of the surrounding neighborhoods of Irish Hill, Butchertown, NuLu, the Highlands and the community at large with an inside self-storage facility operation within the 150-year old distillery building. No units are visible by neighbors.
The facility is accessible 24/7/365 and includes the latest in self-storage technologies and security, 24/7 online assistance, web and mobile reservation support, HD video surveillance, sprinklers and energy saving LED lighting.
Distillery Commons is at the epicenter of an apartment building boom with over 300 new units across the street that opened recently, and over 1500 new apartment units announced or under construction within a mile of Distillery Commons.
The facility is owned and operated by Louisvillians!
About Distillery Commons
Up until 1979, Distillery Commons was the home of National Distillers and Chemical Company’s Kentucky Distillery, Warehouse & Bottling Plant. It’s renowned brands, at the top of the list, Old Grand Dad, and many others were distilled, aged and bottled here since the 1800’s.
Today, Distillery Commons, encompasses nearly 250,000 SF, providing creative, IT and professional office space, and now, climate-controlled storage space.
